About Brian Sylvester
Brian Sylvester
Endurance Athlete · Yogi · Artist
I’m a Vermont-based yoga teacher, endurance athlete, and massage therapist with decades of lived experience in meditation, movement, and recovery. My work is rooted in consistency, discipline, and presence—simple practices applied over time to support long-term health and resilience.
I’ve been meditating since my teens and practicing yoga for over three decades. Alongside this, I compete in ultramarathons and marathons, which continues to shape how I teach: breath-based, intentional, and grounded in what actually supports the body and mind under real-world stress.
My wellness work extends beyond borders. I teach live online yoga to an international community, maintain long-standing connections in Europe, and regularly work with students across time zones. Whether in person or online, my focus is the same—creating steady, accessible practices that help people stay engaged with their health over the long term.
In addition to teaching, I’m a full-time massage therapist and a fine-art painter. My artwork is deeply influenced by meditation and sacred geometry, created as a contemplative practice and offered as a visual anchor for stillness and reflection.
I live and work in Rutland, Vermont, where I balance local, hands-on work with a growing global wellness presence. Everything I offer—yoga, bodywork, art—is guided by the same principle: show up consistently, move with awareness, and let simple practices do their work over time.

Finding wellness and health is a lifetime journey. It’s a balance between the physical, emotional, and mental bodies. Yoga is the cornerstone that helps bring everything together.
